The common misconception of boxing training is that it’s a physical combat activity where individuals are getting hit by punches. This typically happens during sparring. Sparring is a more advanced level of training that is not suitable for everyone.
Here at Brother’s Boxing we focus on boxing training through drilling, conditioning and choreographed boxing simulation. Often, no contact between partners is ever made. We have a variety of heavy bags were the majority of punch drills take place and as a student improves then the coach will provide mitt work for more realistic boxing simulation. This is not a “fight club” rather a place to achieve better fitness through boxing. While learning to defend yourself.
